Like a number of big blockbusters, Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ made the headline before its release over piracy related issues, as a news suggested that the new movie is just one click away from getting downloaded. However, actor Akshay Kumar and producer Prernaa Arora in a conference assured that everything is under control.
This was not the first when a movie came under scare of piracy just before the release, as blockbusters like ‘Baahubali- The Beginning’, ‘ Udta Punjab’, ‘Sultan’ and Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali faced a similar situation in the recent past. Showing confidence, producer Prernaa Arora twitted, “The fight against piracy is critical and its reassuring to see the swift action taken by the Crime Branch on the unfortunate incident involving our film ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha.’”
While stressing on the issue, the producer assured the distributors and the audience as saying there was a rumor suggesting that his new film ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ was leaked online. However, the producer added that now she would like to make it confirm that everything is under control and her colleagues and well-wishers should not worry about anything. She also hinted as saying that someone had tried to create mischief, but it was the Crime Branch that managed everything perfectly.
Supporting Arora’s stance on the issue, actor Akshay Kumar on his official Twitter account wrote that he is urging all his friends, colleagues, fans and audiences to say no to piracy. Other contemporary Bollywood actors like Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Parineeti Chopra were seen supporting Akshay Kumar and the team of ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ in their fight against piracy.
