The Ruslan Three Star Club is likely to be sent in the AFC Club Championship. The decision has been taken by All Nepal Football Association on October 23. Narendra Shrestha, the honorary President of The Executive Committee, has chaired the Executive Committee meeting of ANFA. He showed support and approval for the inclusion of Three Star within the tournament. Usually, the league champions are supposed to take part in the tournament and ANFA has not been approved to organize the A division League from the year of 2015.
The meeting of ANFA has decided to represent the whole matter to the Asian governing body in order to consider the Three Star for the tournament. The officials also told that the Lalitpur-based club has achieved the Martyrs Memorial ‘A’ Division League three years back. The ANFA organization also has decided to organize their general assembly on January 25 on the forthcoming year after completion of the elections in 45 different district FAs, which is likely to be organized in between November 11 to December 11.
Advocate Suman KC. Laxman Thapa has been chosen as the Deputy Chairman of the election committee formed in the meeting. Raju Bhai Manadhar has become the new member with Bijay Basnet and Sagar KC as the alternate members of the organization. The executive committee meeting also seemed to take the decision of building an Election Appeal Commission under the leadership of advocate Moti Ram Gautam. Bal Krishna Shrestha and Surya Narayan Adhikari would be the members, whereas Ganga Sagar and Prakash Rawal would be counted as the alternate members.
