Ranveer’s Simmba Not to Clash with SRK’s Dwarf Film

According to the reports from various media outlets, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer dwarf film (with Anand L Rai) and Ranveer Singh starrer Temper remake (with Rohit Shetty) might have a chance to clash at the Box Office in 2018. This would be for the second time that two stars from Bollywood are going to clash at the Box Office. Earlier in 2015, Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale have battled the race in the Box Office. Presently, the fans are eagerly waiting for the release of these two films in order to see who beats the opponent.
Recently, sources have informed that Ranveer and Rohit Shetty’s action -drama, Simmba, which will be the Hindi remake of the Telegu film Temper has postponed their release date by a week. Earlier, the film was supposed to release on December 21, but the recently released teaser-poster confirms that the film will release on December 28. The original Telegu film is based on the life of Inspector Daya, directed by Puri Jagannadh and starring Kajal Aggarwal and N. T. Rama Rao Jr. in the leading roles. The story narrates about a dishonest and manipulative police inspector, who later becomes an honest officer.
The Hindi version of the movie is likely to be pushed by a week as Rohit is not interested to clash with someone, who likes his works. In addition, there is another movie named Kedarnath that is also lined up for December 21 release. So it down not make sense to release three films together and gather losses.
This is for the first time, Ranveer would be a co-producer and presently bankrolling the movie under his mother’s name, Anju Bhavnani. Interestingly, the film is co-produced by Karan Johar who happens to be the best friend of Shah Rukh Khan.
