The Sheriff’s office in Florida has instructed to investigate the incident of beating a Muslim teenage girl. Recently, a video of this matter has been posted on Facebook and became viral. The video shows three girls were beating the Muslim teenage girl. Teri Barbara, the spokesperson of the nation revealed that the law enforcement authorities were working with the school authority in order to investigate the beating of that 14-year-old girl. The spokesperson also revealed that charges could be filed in the case.
He also elaborated that the fight might not be over religion but a lad. Reports have confirmed that the incident has taken place at a park that located adjacent to the West Boca high school, which that young girl attends. The media has not disclosed the identity of the persons for their security. Previously, the father of the Muslim girl had shared the video on his Facebook page and alleged that they were becoming the prey due to their religion. Omar Saleh, the Attorney for the Council on American-Islamic Relations Florida remarked that he talked with the girl’s mother and she informed her girl was undergoing medical treatment.
Barbera further remarked that the Muslim girl and the other girls had agreed to meet at the park. The Muslim girl thought the meeting could be on a discussion regarding the ongoing dispute between the rivals from two schools; on the other hand, the remaining girls supposed they were meeting to fight. The viral video showed that the Muslim girl was beaten black and blue by the other girls and they were seen standing and recording the footage and having fun as well.
