Spectacular House Owned an Indian American Received Best House Award in New Jersey

The New Jersey Builders Association has awarded the spectacular house of an Indian American in New Jersey’s Short Hill area as one of the best homes in the state. The house, which is owned by Mr Divyang Parikh has also been featured in Design NJ magazine. The organization has rated Mr Parikh’s house as the best in $3 million range.

While expressing his gratitude towards the builders association, Mr Parikh said that he is very excited and honoured for this. While speaking about his award-winning home décor, the owner said that he along with architect Diane Gote have worked on this house for two years and the house is exactly what he desired for.

He said that designer Gote was also very excited about the house and she even could visualize the design before it was completed. Diane Gote is the owner of Design Works in Summit and was the president of the NJ Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers. Mr Divyang Parikh himself is a painter and very fond of draw sketches.

Mr Parikh is the brother of Parikh Worldwide Media founder Padma Shri Dr Sudhir Parikh. While speaking about from where he got the idea of such spectacular architecture, Mr Parikh said that he used to visit the New York Library, where he looked at some books on architecture and picked one that featured some design of 16 and 17th century England. He said that he liked those design very much and took ideas from there.

He added that design of his home is a combination of English and Roman architecture. He, however, designed the family room in Indian style.
